I was chatting to someone the other day, who was in a quandary and working all the hours under the sun, after spending the past 5 years building her business. She is now at a stage whereby she is still working long hours and just trying to manage the business and lead her team,  the reason for this is not due to poor planning, poor leadership or management and most certainly not through a lack of hard work, but due to the fact that her business is in a transition stage and she must make a decision and focus her priorities: either keep the business going as it is but pull back on all of the objectives and goals she wishes to achieve, or she must realise that she needs the help in areas whereby she can transition to the next stage.

You cannot be everything to everyone in any capacity of your life, we all need to remember this. This is particularly important when it comes to hotel guests – as an accommodation provider you most certainly can’t be everything to everyone. But you can always ensure every single channel, communication and touch-point delivers on your Brand Story and Promise.

As a Hospitality Brand Strategist and Marketing expert, I am always of the opinion that once you have your Brand defined and story established, the rest should fall into place.

At Fraser Marketing International we work with Hospitality and Tourism clients at various stages, to ensure they know when they need to pivot or persevere.
